A few things to know.
Can they wear it every day?
Yes — that is what it is built for. Every edge is rounded off by hand and the face is polished, so there is nothing standing up to catch fur or snag on a blanket. It is flat and light enough that a breakaway cat collar still breaks away, the stone sits in a wall of gold rather than glue, and the metal is solid 925 silver right through, never plated. Rain and swimming are fine. A soft cloth is all the care it needs.
What can I engrave on the back?
Their name on the first line, up to 10 characters, and an optional second line of up to 15 — a nickname, a date, a few words that are only yours — beside the BooBoos mark. It is cut into the metal in a handwritten style, not stamped or printed onto the surface, which is why it is still readable years later.
What happens after I order?
Your piece does not exist yet, so we start making it. We select the stone for your charm, cut the seat for that stone, close the bezel over it by hand, finish and polish the silver, and engrave the name you gave us — then check it before it is packed. That is about two weeks from your order to their collar, anywhere in the world. You can change the spelling free right up until we start cutting, and cancel any time before that.
